La Tanzi, Spaulding & Landreth, P.C. has been engaged in the practice of law since 1969. Originally comprised of one attorney and one staff member, we now employ more than twenty-five attorneys and staff members.

Our attorneys are a diverse group of individuals, both locals and natives of several states, and graduates of numerous law schools and undergraduate colleges and universities. Our attorneys are admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Florida, Connecticut, and New York and are members of many legal associations, including, without limitation, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Barnstable Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the American College of Trusts and Estate Counsel. Our attorneys have also held or now hold a variety of municipal positions, including serving as town counsel, town moderator and as members of various boards and commissions. Finally, we are dedicated to the community and are involved in a variety of local and charitable organizations.

Our philosophy remains consistent with the ideals that were originally brought to the practice by Thomas La Tanzi: expeditious resolution of a client's matter by providing prompt and quality legal services based upon an in-depth familiarity of the legal issues through regular client communication and a thorough understanding of the relevant law.

In order to best serve the client, each attorney concentrates his or her practice in a particular field of law. Our practice includes specialties in real estate, financing, estate planning, estate settlement, elder law, guardianships, business, zoning and municipal law, and a variety of litigation matters, including general civil litigation, probate and domestic relations.

Because a client's legal needs frequently involve more than one area of law, and because the client should be represented by the attorney or attorneys best able to serve the client's legal needs, we employ a "firm" concept where clients are considered "firm" clients rather than clients of an individual attorney. Through coordination and consultation, our attorneys integrate their skills in their respective areas for the benefit of the client. The result is integrated legal services of superior quality.

We represent a variety of clients including small and large businesses, real estate developers, banks, charitable and educational associations, trusts and estates, and individuals. Our clients are involved in a wide variety of businesses, including banking, financing, construction, real estate development, health care, broadcast and print media, marine services, manufacturing, retailing and hospitality.
